Shoot First
Welcome to Edinburgh's brand new short film event – Shoot First. Over the coming months we plan to show you a wealth of short films from up-and-coming talent around the world. And if that wasn't enough, we'll also be screening a variety of animation, music videos, documentaries and other visual treats to get the blood racing and the inspiration flowing. Shoot First launches on 9 January, and will then take place on the first Monday of each month.

Bargain
A film concerning Christmas, New Year, Easter and toilet paper.

Smile
A very black comedy showing what could happen if the Neighbourhood Watch got a bit over-zealous.

Selfish C**t - As Angry As Me
A revealing documentary giving us a real insight into what makes the band's front-man, Martin Tomlinson, tick.

Mixed Reception
A short that gives the term 'interactive television' a whole new meaning.

Terence and Lawrence
A bitter sweet tale of life, love and a bit of stalking on the side.

Gas
World Premiere!!! Based on an un-filmed Hitchcock short story, championed by the Hitchcock estate, and showcasing the film debut of Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley, Gas takes us on a trip through the seedy backstreet world of London's Soho. A world that isn't everything it seems.
