The original version of GAS was written by Alfred Hitchcock as a short story for the in-house newsletter of W T Henley Telegraph company in 1919.

Polaris Productions Ltd. has been granted a license by the Alfred Hitchcock Estate to adapt GAS to the screen. This is the first time ever that the story is being brought to life.

Highly regarded professionals such Lord David Puttnam, Sir Alan Parker, Mike Leigh,... have put their names forward to recommend the project.

Shooting was spread over 10 months. Recognized figures of showbiz such as Tony Hadley and Valerie Leon joined the team.

And production was made possible thanks to constant suuport and encouragement from the industry, without whom this project would not have been possible.
